Success! Message received.

My full name is Madison, but since we're friends please - call me Madi. I'm from a small suburb just outside of Boston, and went to undergrad across the country in Southern California. I have two amazing parents, two unbelievable siblings, and the two cutest dogs of all time.

Something that has always been important to me is making a difference in my community. When it comes to helping people I have a limitless drive, and although I am involved in many things I'm not the type to burn the candle at both ends - I'm more like a menorah, I just have more candles to light! Plus, throughout my various involvements, SBA has always been my priority.

My first year at Emory Law I came in knowing that I wanted to be heavily involved in the Student Bar Association. I ran for 1L rep and didn't receive the position, but stayed involved and was later elected as the Law School Senator, serving as the liaison for the law school on the Emory University Senate. My second year at Emory Law I was fortunate enough to serve on the executive board as the Vice President of Student Programming. In the past, this position was limited to Recess on Thursdays and Bar Reviews on the weekends. Not only have I improved the quality of Recess, but I've also expanded Bar Reviews to various environments and geographic areas. In addition, I have also implemented other events such as a self-defense class, monthly hikes, dinner outings, and a field-day fundraiser.

Taking things to the next level is the only way to move forward, and I am confident that I can continue to do that for Emory Law. The relationships I have formed and the experiences I have had will make it easy for me to get the students what they want and need efficiently and effectively. I have made it my personal mission to get to know as many people in our community as possible, and I am so grateful to have so much insight into our school. Knowing the problems is the only way to address them, which is why I personally believe that the President of SBA needs to be approachable, accessible, and reliable.

I urge you to make an informed vote, and not to vote for someone who simply wants a resume boost but rather for someone who genuinely cares. Please take a look around my website, and talk to people who I have worked with. Ask the people who see me in the halls, shoot me text messages, or email me. Talk to people who know me well, and who have had experiences seeing what I can do. I promise that you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know me. If there's ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out to me personally.
