Vice President of Student Programming - 2L Year

As a VP on SBA exec this year, I was fortunate enough to work with all of the other positions in resolving issues. My contributions to SBA this year include but are not limited to:

  • Expanding the scope of Bar Review & Recess
    • exploring new areas of town

    • having more events with other grad schools​

      • bar crawls & mixers​

  • Monthly Hikes

  • Monthly "Dinners on the Town"

  • Held a free self-defense class with professional instructors

  • Hosted The Gavel Games Fundraiser

  • Working with the Office of Academic Success to create & implement a student info exchange website (similar to RateMyProfessor)

  • Working with the Deans and the Registrar to change the Faculty Handbook regarding attendance & credit matters

  • Working with the Career Center to resolve various student concerns

  • Maintaining the Student Events Facebook Page

  • Taking and posting all SBA photos

  • Creating and Maintaining the SBA Instagram

Law School Senator on Emory University Senate - 1L Year
As the Law School Senator I had the privilege of being the liaison between the Law School and Emory University. My contributions to the Senate include but are not limited to:

  • Communicating student concerns​​

  • Getting hot food at the law school

  • Increasing shuttle times to and from the law school

  • Implementing political sensitivity training for the entire university including the law school

  • Providing counseling for students after the United States Presidential election 

  • Providing legal resources to those affected by changes in DACA

  • Forming relationships with other graduate institutions

  • Serving on President Sterk's Special Teams Task Force

    • Host peaceful resistance training programs for student advocates & lobbyists​
